“I worked with Rebecca during a difficult period of my life that she really helped me get through. She is incredibly kind, empathetic, caring and honest. I made so much progress and took big strides in my recovery working with her. Rebecca is really knowledgeable and direct, and that was exactly what I needed to help me reach the goals we set together. She worked with me when I was hesitant and unsure until I became more confident and ready, and her support helped me make real change and work toward a healthier relationship with food. We truly connected, and I don’t think that happens with every clinician you meet. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with her and I am so grateful for all her care and support.”

“The very first time I met Rebecca is one of my favorite moments in my journey toward recovery. I was scared, shy and it was my first day and meal in treatment (ever). She was on the meal and as dinner ended and we all got up from the table, she asked me a simple question: “Are you okay?”. I nodded and the moment was over just like that, but to me, it was one of the kindest and most heartfelt questions I’ve ever been asked. It was one no one had ever asked me before. And from there, the work Rebecca and I did together was vital in changing my relationship with food and healing eating disorder behaviors. I felt held and cared for as she helped me pull apart rigid food rules, obsession with weight and numbers and guided me toward intuitive eating. She reminded me that I mattered, could fully recover from my eating disorder and completely heal my relationship with food. Rebecca is both tough on the eating disorder and incredibly kind. She has a big, beautiful heart and I feel so grateful that she was a part of my recovery journey. (Fast forward a couple years later: I don’t have a single food rule).”
